Program Delivery

The Online Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy Training program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience through various modes of delivery. Here is an overview of the program's delivery format:

1. Weekly Online Training

The core of the program is the weekly online training sessions conducted via Zoom. These sessions take place every week on a weekday from 6 PM to 9 PM Eastern Standart Time. During these interactive sessions, participants will engage in theoretical discussions, case studies, experiential exercises, and skills development. The online training sessions provide an opportunity for real-time learning, collaboration, and engagement with the trainer and fellow participants. This format allows for flexibility and accessibility, enabling participants to attend from anywhere in the world.

2. Self-study and Reflective Written Output

In addition to the weekly online training, participants will engage in self-study and reflective written output for three hours per month. This component involves independent study of assigned readings, research, and other relevant resources. Participants will have access to Microsoft Teams where they can find course materials, assignments, and resources. They will be expected to engage in reflective writing, documenting their learning, insights, and personal reflections related to the training content. This self-study component promotes deeper integration and application of the concepts covered in the program.

3. Reflective Peer Group Participation

A key element of the training program is the participation in a Reflective Peer Group. These groups provide a supportive and confidential space for participants to engage in peer-to-peer learning, sharing experiences, and discussing challenges and insights related to their clinical practice. The Reflective Peer Groups meet on a monthly basis for one hour via Zoom, offering an opportunity for participants to receive feedback, gain different perspectives, and develop a sense of community with their peers.

The breakdown of the monthly learning will be as follows:

  • Weekly Online Meetings – 3 hours x 4 6:00 – 9:10 PM via Zoom
    • Group Check-in: 15 min
    • Teach based on theory: 90 min
    • Break: 10 min
    • Discussion/Experiential work: 60 min
    • Group process & Check-out: 15 min
  • Monthly Self-study & Reflective Written Output via MS Teams: 180 min
  • Reflective Peer Group Participation via Zoom: 60 min
  • Total Individual Engagement Per Module: 16 hours

By combining the weekly online training sessions, self-study, reflective writing, and participation in reflective peer groups, the program offers a balanced and comprehensive learning experience for at least of 16 hours in each module. It provides both structured instruction and opportunities for personal reflection, application, and peer interaction. This multi-faceted approach enhances participants' understanding, integration, and skill development in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
